The Mate 30 Pro is a fantastically designed smartphone. The camera is super. The design is a decent progression from the Mate 20 Pro, and we like pretty much everything about it. The Best Smart Phone 2019 Huawei Mate 30 Pro is official and something tells us we’re going to be talking about this one for quite some time. Revealed alongside the regular Mate 30 at an event in Munich, Germany, Huawei’s latest powerhouse flagship packs in more cameras, more processing power and a new and improved waterfall-inspired design. I can guarantee the design will appeal to everyone. The curved edges found on recent Huawei phones have also received some attention and now has a more pronounced curvature of 88 degrees. Huawei is calling the new waterfall-inspired design the Huawei Horizon Display. The most obvious change is the circular camera module which replaces the squircle from last year.
There are two elements that make this phone stand out. First, the 6.53-inch ‘waterfall’ display – called Horizon display – that curves away from the flat surface. We’ve seen this type of thing before, of course, in older Samsung Galaxy Edge phones most notably. The Best Smart Phone 2019 Mate 30 Pro has a 6.53-inch OLED display and, as we mentioned, it’s curved at the edges – it is an impressive design element. Expanding from edge to edge, the ultra-curved screen extends the horizon for an ultimate immersive viewing experience. The encircled glass with 88 degree1 ultra curves, gives you a natural touch and hold in the palm of your hand. More than a piece of artwork, it is pursuing the balance of aesthetics and comfort. But we don’t view it as a revolution.
Size: The size of the display is 6.53 inches, (~94.1% screen-to-body ratio)
Resolution: 1176 x 2400 pixels, 18.5:9 ratio (~409 PPI density) which is more than enough for the human eye.
Protection: They have used Corning Gorilla Glass 6 in this device with DCI-P3 with HDR10+.

In fact, Huawei says the primary camera is able to let in 137% more light than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Mate 30 also features a 16MP ultra-wide camera, making its rear camera setup. Mate 30 Pro delivers a 3D ToF camera for bokeh effects. It has also a 40MP ultra-wide camera. This ultra-wide camera delivers much-improved low-light performance in theory. It is offering a slightly bigger sensor than the primary camera sensor (1/1.7 inches for the primary sensor versus 1/1.5 inches for the ultra-wide sensor). Huawei also showed off a variety of low-light shots to demonstrate the ultra-wide camera’s improved capabilities. Selfies are handled by a 32MP camera and 3D depth camera on the Mate 30 Pro, while a 24MP shooter delivers selfies on the vanilla Mate 30.
We’ve got real-time video bokeh, 7,680fps video recording, 4K/60fps capabilities for the first time, and 4K HDR time lapses. The company even compared ultra-wide video recording on the Galaxy Note 10 Plus to the Mate 30 Pro, also Huawei mate 30 pros is delivering a brighter video
